Chris Manning resides in St.Catharines where he is owner/operator of: Real Life Fitness & Wellness; Lifestyle Coaching and Personal Training. 

Chris is a certified Personal Trainer (ACE*), a Licensed Lifestyle Coach** and a Nutrition & Wellness Specialist (NWS)***. A passionate student of life with over 25 years of experience studying, learning and applying personal growth strategies to his own life. He is an accomplished athlete, competing in a diverse range of sports including, Ironman Triathlon, Marathons, Mountain biking and Powerlifting. Chris’ background includes three years in the Canadian Armed Forces where he won his platoon’s boot camp fitness award. This experience led Chris to pioneer the “boot camp” fitness concept in the Niagara Region. 

Chris’ experience includes the development of personalized training programs for a number of professional athletes including golfer Liz Earley and hockey player Brendan Brooks. His clientele ranges in age from 35 to 65 years of age. He challenges and inspires them to find their inner athlete. His clients have succeeded in realizing a variety of goals and objectives such as competing in and completing 5 km races, half marathons, full marathons, road and mountain bike races, triathlons and duathlons, as well as living balanced healthy lifestyles. 

Chris’ philosophy on “an improved lifestyle” focuses on the design and execution of personalized wellness programs. These programs include coaching clients in the application of scientifically developed and experience based principles of physical conditioning, nutrition and overall health and wellbeing as well as the understanding and self-management of one’s motivational triggers.  

Chris is also a fitness and lifestyle writer and has contributed to publications such as Niagara Life Magazine, Niagara Today Magazine and Health Fit Magazine. He has been asked to present on various fitness topics to educational institutions such as York University and Niagara College as well as leading edge fitness companies such as Keiser Fitness Equipment. 

Chris is a big believer in being engaged and involved in his community and has participated in many events that support local charities. In 2009 Chris established the “Tuned in to Summer” charity event in support of local cancer care and treatment, and the “Ride for Red Roof Retreat” event in support of the Red Roof Retreat, a locally established respite home for those with special needs. 

Chris’ clients will create and execute their own personal “Real Life System” which ultimately will be their living “healthy lifestyle blueprint”.
